THE SCHOOL |

| 1. semester |
| This first semester was a bit of a
prepairation of what was to come. It was devied in 2 parts, the first part
was to learn about land measurements and making maps and the second part was
to design and draw a single family house. In this semester we do not get a
grade. It is a pass or no pass. Fortunately I passed |

| 2. semester |
|
The second semester was alot more difficult that the first..
Here we got scetches of a single family, 3 story house which we had to
solve, t.i. make details and drawings needed. Here we started learning how
to draw in Autocad. We where working 3 together in a group and we got a
grade of 10 for our project. |

3. semester |
|
The third semester was a bit different from the 2 first. We
where supposted to make drawings and detail of a WEB shop made of
prefabricated elements. Along with that we needed to start up a company, a
factory which made prefabricated elements. This ment that we had to make a
report about the foundation of the factory, which ended beeing over 100
pages. Here we worked 4 together and got a grade of 9. |

4. semester |
|
Forth semest is only about design. Here we are to make
proposals, drawings and details of a multi story house with 12 appartments.
Here I worked for the first time with other Icelandair, but that is my
friend Baddi. We had been in the same class on the danish line since first
semester. Here we moved over to the english line, as we had decided to go as
exchange students to New Zealand, and therefor needed the practice in
english. We worked 4 together this semester and got a grade of 10 |

5. semester |
|
The fifth semester is about renovation. We are to draw and
make a proposal of an extension in an old multi story building. This is
sayed to be the most difficult semester in the school, exept for the final
project. At liest there is alot to do and we will have exames in desember.
We had a great group this semester and got a grade of 13 |
|
|
| 6. semester |
| Sixth is a management
project where you make a tender for a wide span sport
hall and execute all work untill you hand over the
building. This is like working as a contractor. School
is 10 weeks and practical placement 10 weeks. Alos we go
to a study trip wich was our tour to New Zealand. Grade
for this semester was 10. |
